Playing solo would still be a lot harder than playing in a team, since it would still be a deathmatch with just 1 life. To me it seemingly has only 2 major effects: Players who want to play fair matches, can then do so. Note that the issue here is fairness and not difficulty. While difficulty can be a challenge, unfairness is usually just frustrating. Players don’t like unfairness, which is for example why p2w is such a big deal. You wouldn’t argue “p2w is good for a game, because players can enjoy the challenge”, would you?
Destiny vault of glass raid matchmaking
An international bestseller with over one million readers. With war threatening to spread from Europe to England, the sleepy village of Crowmarsh Priors settles into a new sort of normal: Evacuees from London are billeted in local homes. Nightly air raids become grimly mundane.
Just because matchmaking isn’t there doesn’t cripple the game completely for us lone wolves. The Destiny lfg app is a pretty useful tool for searching for people to do the stuff you want with. And then there’s the reason why Destiny left out matchmaking for the bigger pvp/pve content.

Builder’s Base: The problem with matchmaking
Sturm Why we love it: At a base level Sturm is just a great hand cannon. The extended barrel gives it a longer range than similar guns, and the extended mag lets you blast away for longer although is countered by a slower reload. Energy weapon kills also boost its precision damage until you reload. However, the real bonus here is that kills with Sturm will give you extra energy weapon ammo.
The easy answer to this would be to simply add matchmaking for raids. If you don’t have people to play with, you simply queue up and get matched with other players in the queue — hassle-free.
Raiding Mechanics Multiplayer Test your skills against another player’s village! Matchmaking matches you with another player based on your Trophies and Town Hall level. Because of this, you are likely to find targets at or near your Town Hall level. Alternatively, you can enter a ‘Revenge’ battle by tapping the button in your Defense Log.
This allows you to raid a person who has attacked you first. Although you can deploy troops during this time, the battle will start immediately upon doing so you do not get extra time by starting early.

If Supercell doesn’t seem to care about the issue, of course people find solutions for themselves.
blizzard, hi why do you not care that your pvp matchmaking is broken? I play everyday.. most days.. and que for pvp often. pretty much daily. and I’m disgusted by how broken the matchmaking system. I wouldn’t bother to que with it being so frustrating but at this point there isn’t anything else to do and I love pvp with my monk.
Jemas Jemas 4 years ago 1 There is a lot of chatter and complaining about the end game raids not having a match making aspect. But this guy explained it in a simple way, that seems to get the point across. Then I watched it again. I really did miss what Luke Smith was outlining for Raids. I am guilty of not seeing the trees through the forest. Not sure if it is because most of the last 15 plus years I have mainly been an FPS player, the fact that Bungie made Halo – a game I have loved and played since the beginning – or because of distractions while watching the video.
It doesn’t really matter. Here is why I came to understand that. Destiny is truly different from what I and many others are used to.
The Division 2
Tom Clancy’s The Division Destiny 2 and The Division are two very different games with the same core gameplay principle. Both are multiplayer shooters that allow players to team up against AI-controlled enemies, and both heavily involve grinding for loot. Comparing Destiny 2 and The Division is tough.
Have to collapse for there raids destiny for matchmaking the rest of the pc due there for matchmaking raids to a drop in the number. Supposedly quoted by some of the highest volume of internet searches for the word porn in it but you’re probably not going to fall right.
In , Bungie release the much-anticipated persistent world game, Destiny. Even though Destiny was a solid first person shooter, the story and content were lacking. The game struggled to keep its promises of being an engaging persistent world where you could go anywhere your eye could see. The game initially promised an open-world style game and delivered an invisible walled hallway shooter.
The game lacked content and an engaging story at release. Not until The Taken King year two expansion did the game finally feel alive and full of things to do. People started to really enjoy themselves in year two until they realized Destiny 2 was not going to transfer any of their hard work over. Only after a month, players were scratching their heads wondering why Bungie reversed what they learned in The Taken King and made destiny 2 worse than Destiny 1 on day one.

One of the greatest things that ever happened to extremely niche activities is matchmaking. There was a certain joy in rounding up 40 people in World of Warcraft raids back in the day, but I can’t say I miss , I like the idea of hitting a button and getting matched up with other people, whether it’s instant (LFR) or gradual (LFG).
Buy Destiny currently lacks matchmaking support for raids, but it may not be that way forever. World design lead Steve Cotton told Metro developer Bungie has been “thinking about that a lot,” though it has apparently yet to decide if the feature will actually go into the game. Bungie has heard the calls for raid matchmaking support for years now. In , lead designer Luke Smith said a looking-for-group mechanic is something Bungie “absolutely want[s] to do.
Where you can say ‘I want to do this. Are you looking to do this with me? In the new Metro interview, Cotton spoke generally about how Bungie responds to fan feedback. He said Bungie is “absolutely listening,” but the team often focuses more on new content instead of additional features like matchmaking support for raids.
This is not to say Bungie has stopped adding new features to Destiny, as the much-requested private match support is coming with Rise of Iron in September. And constantly looking at stuff that people are talking about,” Cotton explained.
Heres why theres no matchmaking in Destiny’s Raids

Jul 20, · I’ve noticed something about matchmaking in regular raids. It seems to me if I have a big army cooked I’m shown tough bases with no major loot. If I cook just barch it seems I’m shown more dead bases and easier bases in general. Am I delusional or is there something up with this??
Sep 6, at Bungie is looking to remedy that with what they call Guided Games. Guided Games is a new feature found in Destiny 2 designed to make it easier for solo players to experience the raid content found in Destiny 2. You do this through a matchmaking screen of sorts but there are some slight changes. This allows the clan to fill out their roster and the solo player to have a team to complete the raid with. The next option is for solo players to apply for clans that have themselves open to guided games.
